Brick 1: What’s the origin of your performer name (Infamou$ G)?

Infamou$ G came naturally to me. Wanted something that stood out and made heads turn. G is just the initial of my name Gabriel.

Brick 2: Who were your biggest musical influences when developing your sound?

I grew up on a ton of Bone Thugs N Harmony, which is why people say I tend to have a flow like them and/or ASAP Rocky-Ferg (You’ll see with my next release what I mean). Notorious B.I.G. , Jedi Mind Tricks, Tupac, Wu Tang Clan. Lot of my musical influences nowadays are Kendrick Lamar,  j.Cole, Kanye West.

Brick 3: What was the moment you knew you wanted to pursue music as a profession?

When I chose to do everything myself 4 years ago. That’s when I started producing and worked/focused on it hard. 4 years later, here we are and now I can get back to writing and rapping because I know my production will steadily continue to get better naturally and is already on another level.

Brick 4: What is the biggest misconception about being a recording artist?

Haha I don’t know. If anything, I’m not looking at it from the listener side, it is probably thinking the artist is ballin and is financially well off. But when you are an artist yourself and you meet these other artists, the majority are just broke as fuck. All that money in their videos tend to be all the money they have. They just flexing for clout.

Brick 5: How will people view The Infamous G brand by the end of 2018?

That I am here to stay and that my energy is contagious as fuck. You can say you hate me but lowkey the fact I’m doing everything myself (or with my team) when it comes to making music. You are going to talk about me period.
